An ear massage is very relaxing. Gently massaging ears for 5-10 minutes daily, can reduce stress, calm anxiety, relieve pain, and even reduce substance cravings.

An ear massage is very relaxing. Gently massaging ears for 5-10 minutes daily, can reduce stress, calm anxiety, relieve pain, and even reduce substance cravings.

How to do it:

  • Rub your two hands together to warm the palms, and then place your hands over your ears, press five seconds, and then quick release. Repeat it three times.
  • Use your thumb and index finger rub and massage every inch of your outer ears. Where it feels tender, press a bit longer. At the end, pull entire ear away from your head, repeat three times.
  • Go behind your ears, and push the ear flaps slightly forward, and then massage well behind your ears and into the ridge that connects ear to skull.
  • Massage your earlobes, gently pulling downwards, repeat 5 times.
  • Rub in small circular motions with your with thumb inside the widest upper part inside the ears.
  • Use your index fingers to massage the acupuncture points in the ears.
